New default theme – Twenty Seventeen

WordPress 4.7 release -Twenty-Seventeen default theme

Twenty Seventeen is slightly different than previous default themes. Its main focus is on business websites rather than blogs. With a parallax home page, it even comes with starter content to help new users and creatives set up their WordPress websites.

The new default theme can very easily be used for blogs. Twenty Seventeen has large featured images, crisp typography, and a responsive mobile-first approach to design.

Updating to WordPress 4.7

Before you run the WordPress Version 4.7 upgrade we highly recommend taking a backup of your database and files. Checking the theme and plugins on your site are 100% compatible with the new core version is a must do activity.

It is important to note, the upgrade process will affect all files and folders included in the main WordPress installation. This includes all the core files used to run WordPress. If you have made any modifications to those files, your changes will be lost.
